Before wildfires, we kept the window open most of the time and it worked quite well but with wildfires we keep the windows closed for a couple of days straight. It really took a toll. Even though we have multiple air purifiers, I started to feel sick.
Finally we ordered a air quality monitor, Awair Element. It came in a nice box and it was a breeze to setup and immediately showed high CO2 levels at home. So we opened the window and placed the air purifiers strategically at the open window to minimize the damage. It worked. CO2 levels went down and PM2.5 levels were still low. We have been doing this same process of opening windows with air purifiers and it’s been great.
Awair Element is simple to setup and useful. Highly recommend it.
